Posting Attractive Ads on Craig's List

Reblogger Stacia McCallum

Some great advice for people looking for some free marketing. I have used Postlets.com (and still do), however I have not tried Saw it Online. Another one I can recommend is www.realestateshows.com - although, it's NOT free, it's a great way to make "virtual tours." Although, they aren't truely virtual tours, you can use the "virtual tour" link on your posting on realtor.com and the MLS.

Posting Attractive Ads on Craig’s List

I have been posting my listings and other Ads on Craig’s List for sometime now, but I used to wander how a lot of agents seem to have more attractive Ads than others. Crag’s List only allows you to put four photos of your listings and the text was very plain too, without any other options. So, I knew it wasn’t from Craig’s List. Then, I did what I always do. I called and asked those agents how were posting those nice looking Ads with more than 4 photos.

Welcome to the world of HTML with some great software products. I had not idea what HTML stood for initially. I only knew that it looked great once it was embedded into those Craig’s List Ads. Hyper Text Markup Language(HTML) was the predominant markup language for web pages, and it was the basic building blocks for those web pages. HTML elements consists of tags enclosed within angle brackets like, <html>, with the web page content. HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can used to create interactive forms. What does all this mean? Who cares about all that technical talk anyway?  Just Show Me How it Works.Desktop

I have found two programs so far that I like to use, and I am sure there are many others on line.  Postlets.com and Saw it on Line are two good programs to use to post your listing Ads, and any other type Ads you wish to promote. What’s so great about both of these products, is the ability to make one flier ad and post it to your Facebook Pages, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, and Craig’s List, and the global syndication to other popular sites is awesome too.  This was what I called working smart and getting the information out to various resources.  The basic subscriptions are FREE, but you will want to upgrade to the premium products to get the better Ads. The basic only allows six photos, but the premium allows you to post as many as you want.

With more and more buyers and sellers looking at the intranet, it just makes good sense to use the BEST ads available and to post as many photos for your listings as you can. I have been told that our listings should have a minimum of 25 photos. You have more options with the graphics, texting, and photos when you use software that has HTML language like Postlets.com and Saw it on Line

Hi Stacia. I grateful for your re-blog. There were so many great comments on this post for others about products that they used on Craig's List too.
