I recently needed to see a doctor in Palm Springs for a persistent sore throat.
I checked the Blue Shield website to find a list of approved health-care providers and called several of the general practitioners, only to be told they could see me in two or three days. That didn't seem right, so I googled "Urgent Care Palm Springs" and was directed to the Eisenhower Medical Center Website.
I called Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs (located at 151 S Sunrise Way) and was told I could come straight over to the clinic and that I would be seen by an "Urgent Care doctor". (Urgent Care refers to non-emergent complaints including coughs, colds, earaches, sore throats, influenza, falls, bruises, insect bites, rashes and skin infections).
Being attended to at Eisenhower Medical Center was a refershing experience!
The doctors, nurses and admin staff were all highly professional, friendly and extremely attentive.
In fact, I can definitely state that Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs is the most professionally staffed and run Medical Center I have yet found and experienced in the U.S.A.
