Are the walls closing in?

Real Estate Agent with Loffreno Real Estate, Inc.

On June 1, 2011 I completed orientation at the Board of Realtors and became an active Real Estate Sales Associate, shortly thereafter I joined AR. A few weeks have passed and I've still been afraid to join the blogging community. OK, face my fear, here it goes.

Circumstances put me in a place where I had too much time on my hands. I tried some destructive behavior but didn't care for the results. So I thought I would try some constructive behavior. I decided to volunteer at the local hospital. The results have proved very worthwhile. They include all the ones you'd expect: gratitude for your health, family and friends, the satisfaction of giving without expecting anything in return, supplying companionship to an otherwise lonely soul....

Yet there is one benefit I'm just recently experiencing - escape! I'm new to the real estate business and am drowning in a sea of work. Day and night, 7 says a week, I feel like I should be doing something to generate income- those bills won't pay themselves. And to think back, not long ago, I thought the person who sold my house had it so easy. Little did I know of the challenge of just getting a client. Its all new to me: create a website - what?, get a Facebook account -why?, navigate the MLS - where? Blog - when?

Sorry, got to go, they're expecting me at the hospital. Need a break? Volunteer.

Thanks Susan! It is nice to hear success, it seems I have heard more "80% of you won't make it.

And thanks Peggy! I hope I'm able to utilize just a fraction of what AR has to offer.
