2011 Summer Concerts at Oregon Zoo ~ Portland, OR

Connie it is really very pleasant and the mood of the people attending is always energetic and fun.  We sit on a grassy area and you can bring low chairs, sit back relax and listen to the music.

Andrea, I like the summer concerts as well, the zoo concerts the best because of who they bring in.  I had not paid attention to these two artists before, but when I listened to both of them, I was hooked. I love music of all kinds even some that my 17 year old granddaughter listens to, remember I said some. Nice way to spend a summer evening with someone you enjoy.

Russel you are right, it is pretty cool.  Not sure about the swans but perhaps they will join, wouldn't that be fun.

Hi Maureen, you are so right they are great summer events and something to look forward to on a warm summer's eve.  Portland has a lot of highlights but this is one of my very favorites.
