Why Can't We All Get Along, Be Professionals and Do Our Job?

I agree with you completely. My broker recently had a transaction with an agent that was so into being "in charge" and wanting to "control" the transaction, and she wasn't very nice about it, that she forgot about the inspection objection deadline.

On the other hand, I just closed my first commercial transaction. It was a lease to own. It was so great to deal with a reasonable buyer and a reasonable seller. We went back and forth once and both parties came to an agreement. Everyone was happy and worked together. It was a beautiful thing.

Unfortunately, for some people, there is no other way to be.  All you can do is your job to the best of your ability and hope that the professionals around you are committed to doing the same.

Take a break or two when needed.   Don't fly off the handle and remember you may need them on your side sooner than later.   It is good to keep a level head and always follow up!!!!  

When the leaders of our country can't get along then how are we suppose to?

The key is always to that email in drafts and read it in the morning. Most of the time, you will rewrite before you hit send. I am sure tabs we all feel better when we can rant and scream, but in the interest of making a smooth transaction, we need to keep our claws where they belong and look out for what is best for the clients. Karen you are spot on, I am always concerned when the ego of the other players gets in the way of a Transaction, what annoys me most is when the clients are cool and then there is one ego maniac agent on the other side.....

The Banks and the Underwriters are not interested in getting along. 

Occasionally, I encounter a "Prima Donna" Real Estate Agent, or an Agent that wants to play Hardball.

 If these people would stop being such jerks, more deals would make it to closing!

It's so easy for ruffled feathers to get the best of someone.... especially under stress. If we all would step back sometimes and shake our feathers before entering a conversation or room it would go a long ways. I love your post!
