Take the Time To Realize Life ~ Time is Precious
Quite often we go on with our daily activities without even a thought of how lucky we truly are ~
Take Time ~
To Realize
The Value of a sister/brother
Ask someone
Who doesn't have one..
To Realize
The value of ten years
Ask a newly
Divorced couple..
To Realize
The value of four years
Ask a graduate..
To Realize
The value of one year
Ask a student who
Has failed a final exam..
To Realize
The value of nine months
Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn..
To Realize
The value of one month
Ask a mother
Who has given birth to
A premature baby..
To Realize
The value of one week
Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper
To Realize
The value of one minute
Ask a person
Who has missed the train, bus or plane..
To realize
The value of one second
Ask a person
Who has survived an accident..
Time waits for no one..
Treasure every moment you have..
You will treasure it even more when
You can share it with someone special..
To Realize
The value of a friend or family member
Lose one
Take Time
To Realize
Life
Frank & Karen, thanks for sharing this very well-thought out poem. Going to re-blog this one!
Frank and Karen,
This is excellent in every respect. We should all read this as an affirmation every morning.

Frank & Karen- Time is very precious and it wouldn't hurt for us to have this taped to our mirrors so that every morning we can go out and make the most of every minute we have.
An especially poignant reminder on this day. Each moment holds something special, we need only look for it.
Hi Karen and Frank, What a really good post. Now more than ever with our fast paced lives and always going going going ito stop and take the time to look at what you have and appreciate it.
Richard ~ The only family member I have left is my sister who lives in Staten Island, New york and I am very thankful we are best friends!
Rich ~ A kind reminder of how lucky we truly are ~
Tish ~ Keeping all those moments special in our heart ~
Cindy ~ Fast paces need a break, we need to remind ourselves to stop and take a breath of fresh air ~
Frank and Karen, very nice. We are all in too much of a hurry and forget all of these things! Have a great weekend!
Frank and Karen: I loved this poem! I suggested it as it will have meaning for every one of our 209,000+ Active Rain members. I've survived an accident earlier in my life and yes, life is a blessing. I've lost both my parents but they live on in me with the values they instilled....Life should be shared with others -
