VICTORIA'S OLD TOWN ALONG JOHNSON STREET
Many Commercial Building were built in Downtown Victoria before the Turn of the Century in the late eightteen hundreds.
Here is a Great Photo of Johnson Street of many of the old buildings in Victoria's old town district.
Many are now very trendy retail Stores on the street level. Popular place for Victoria Tourist and Locals to Shop and Explore.

Fred, this just reminds me of my two vacations to Victoria, and they were SUCH happy memories!
I think all of our pre-20th century buildings are either in the Gaslamp Quarter downtown or have been moved to Heritage Park and reopened as museums. It's kind of funny, and sad too, that San Diego is the oldest city in California yet we have very few buildings left that are over 100 years old.

Hi Eric...you would absolutely love the Photo opportunities in Victoria, besides Sea Life which you have we have a lot of turn on the century Arts and Craft homes, Parks, the World Famous Fairmont Empress Hotel, First Nation Totem Poles including the World Tallest Totem Pole and a World Glass Museum and Imax Theater, etc etc.

Fred, y'all sure do have some mighty fine eye catchen commercial buildings there in Downtown Victoria. I sure do enjoy going out looking at older buildings, they actually call out to you and have a life to them.

Hi Gloria...They say at the turn of the century in Victoria there was a building Boom and there were hundreds of Architects designing homes and building here then.
