Spa Resort Casino to Reinvigorate Hotel
Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa
The hotel at Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs will undergo renovation of its guest rooms, corridors, and lobby this summer, giving guests another great reason to stay at this historic resort.
Work on the iconic Palm Springs hotel, which features a Don Wexler-designed colonnade, is scheduled to begin July 5th and will be completed in phases, so as not to disrupt or displace guests. The overall look will compliment the hotel’s architecture, with colors and fabrics leaning toward the natural, earthy tones of the surrounding desert and mountains.
Once complete, each guest room at Spa Resort Casino will be outfitted with NEW mattresses, bedding, bed scarves, neck rolls, 42” flat-screen televisions, carpeting, bedside tables with granite tops, black-out drapery, chairs, ottomans, and a clock radio featuring an iPhone/iPod port. Guest rooms will also have refurbished headboards, reupholstered benches, and refinished credenzas.
The corridors will be outfitted with new carpeting, drapery, wall covering, sconces, and furniture. Longtime fans of the resort will be pleased to know the quaint guest room doorbells that stand testament to days of lazy vacations past will still remain.
