Peggy - Higher end homes here in CT have also started to sell, but not to the extent you have in your area....   That's so fabulous for you!   Virginia is a pretty state - we thought about moving there for its fabulous climate and people.

Hi Dagny, what is helping is the money situation has opened up. Many homes are being purchased by relocating buyers as well as move-up buyers. Our rental market is really doing very well here which gives move-up buyers the confindence to hold the smaller home as a rental.

The climate here is good. I was raised in Upstate New York and for me, Virginia offers four wonderful seasons, none to long that you get bored with them.
