Technology & Google Apps for Business
For all of you trying to keep up with the latest technology to help your business.
I recently took a technology class on the DROID phone and Google Apps for Business. I was excited because it was supposed to sink everything from my outlook to my phone!!!
WOW this would have been a dream come true if it had worked.
Now I am one of those agents that uses outlook to its fullest capacity... so I save every e-mail, links ofhomes they requested to see and PDF's in the notes section that relates to that contact. So if that client calls I have everything there.
I also categorize everyone, Clients, Family, Buyers and Sellers.... So if I want to send out a blast e-mail I don't have to go through a huge list.
Well I am here to let you know that you won't be able to do any of those things with GOOGLE APPS for BUSINESS. $404.00 later I found this out.
My understanding is that GOOGLE APPS for BUSINESS is not like G-MAIL at all... at least G-mail will let you categorize.
I just thought I would let everyone know so you don't go through the frustration and expense if any of these things are important to you.
