Friday Fotos - A Cottage Garden in Kenwood, CA

One of the nicest things about being a wine country real estate agent is the variety of landscapes I get to see.  If you've read my blog with any regularity, you've probably noticed I post a lot pictures of Sonoma landscapes.  I think we live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.  The vineyards, open meadows, pristine hills---everywhere I turn it seems there is an abundance of natural beauty.  Recently I was on a tour of a sprawling Kenwood country property.  Tucked away behind the main house,  several outbuildings, and a pool with a carefully landscaped patio,  I found this charming and untamed Kenwood cottage garden.  And behind it?  A young vineyard next to an old Walnut orchard. Ah, the simple pleasures of a wine country agent!

Kristen ~  I think I told you that I left my heart in SF... and that includes Sonoma County and the wine country.  Many happy memories of wine tasting and more.

Kirsten -- That's really lovely. Almost looks like it was staged it's so perfect.  I'll bet you see a lot of this type of scenery where you are. I'd love to visit there someday.

What a sweet, quaint spot. I'd love to settle down with a good book for a couple hours there.

Kirsten, I took 5 days off to jet to Napa last September, and AGREE you have beautiful landscapes!    The weather was perfect, wine was flowing, and had a great few days away from stress!

I've enjoyed looking through your blogs to get the "feel" of the wine country via your pics.  Hope you have a festive weekend... g

Barbara:  Please come visit.  I'll show you the best of Sonoma...and there's a lot of it.

Gretchen:  Me, too.  Had to keep moving, though.  There were quite a few properties on broker tour that day....

Joan:  Next time you are in the area...let me know.  It would be fun to get together.

Michael:  Gardening is the one thing around my place that I make time to do consistently.  Not that my garden is well tended...but my intensions are good.  Wish I had more time to play in the dirt.

G:  You, too.  Busy weekend, I'm happy to say!

Kevin:  Maybe for a guy.  I don't know too many women who would plan a NASCAR win in a garden!
