This week when I popped into Seattle Aquarium on one of my walking journeys through Seattle, there were buses out front to signify a school event was participating in the fun excursion of "Life on the Edge"

Tidepool exhibits are made for little hands to touch...

This exhibit allows visitors to experience tidepool life of Washington's outer coast and Seattle's inland sea.

Gently touch sea anemones, and sunflower sea stars as the naturalist staff explains marine life. Two large video screens above assist in the demonstration as kids have fun learning about environmental conditions and local marine life.

Hi Judi, I love tide pools and we have some great ones here in Point Loma. I sure wish I had access when I was growing up. Probably would have ended up a marine biologist. But back in the Midwest we just didn't know a tidepool from a tadpole.

Chris~ Seattle Aquarium is always a hit with visitors! For us, whenever we go to San Diego, we have to visit the zoo!
