The Results Are In...

And It Looks Like Working With 1st Time Buyers
is the Crowd Favorite!

We have a winner!

OK, my dear readers, the votes have been tabulated, there were no hanging chads or evidence of voter fraud, and the results indicate that in a 2 to 1 margin you guys prefer to work with 1st time buyers rather than work with "seasoned" buyers.

There were 124 votes cast in this unofficial survey.
  • 67% of you said you'd rather work with 1st time buyers.
  • 30% said they'd rather work with "seasoned" buyers.
  • And 3% of you goofballs responded with the "Why Do You Keep Making These Polls Craig?" choice!

The results are in!

To see the poll and the comments as to why people voted the way they did, head on over to the original post by clicking the link below.

And thank you to all who participated in this fun little exercise!

What's More Gratifying for you? Working With 1st Time Home Buyers?

Or Working With "Seasoned" Buyers?

Working with first time home buyers in easy - in most cases, as long as you can get rid of someone who is more analytical than you! (Seriously, I did that!)

As an almost grown-up, I don't care what type of buyer it is, as long as they're qualified and can make a decision.

Hi Craig - I missed the original poll, but I semi-agree with the results.  I'd say that my own personal preferences match the pool results.  I'd like 70% first timers and 30% seasoned.

I enjoy helping newbies through what they consider a mysterious process, but I also enjoy having seasoned buyers tell me that I made their transaction so much easier than their last one with another agent. Beginning to end, my goal is to make it easy for me and for everyone else involved. No sense looking for stress!

I don't know if I can actually pick between the 2. First timers need a lok of advice because they don't know anything about the process. Seasoned buyers know what's up but they think they know more than we do. I'll def work with both, though.

I like all buyers, yep, all of them.  Of course, first-timers are my favorites though.  ;-)

Craig

I prefer to work with qualified buyers, the best group right now is the first time home buyers.

Good luck and success.

I am afraid I have to say, ANY buyer is a good buyer as long as they are preapproved and instantly fall in love with my staged homes.  ;-).

Hey!  I missed the poll... Seasoned Buyers all the way!  Well, though, First Time Buyers are more needy, and we all need to feel needed.  Okay, maybe First Time Buyers are good.  Buyers are good, period.

Craig, with working with first time home buyers, you most likely will have repeat buyers in the future.      I have been working with relocation for years, and loving it!

Wonder what pepople think about first time vs. seasoned sellers?

Perhaps we should set up a poll to see who does and doesn't like YOUR polls? LOL
