Feature worthy and rebloggable, #2

For the initial installment of Feature worthy and rebloggable, click on #1.

Since the ActiveRain system lets us reblog up to ten posts per week for points, you can check in here each Saturday and immediately find ten posts that I think are worthy of reblogging.

How my list works: This list is a little more difficult to put together than some of the other featured posts like this because I choose the people first and then I slog through their blogs for days on end to find a post that is worthy of reblogging.

This allows me to pick up many great posts from weeks, months, or years gone by rather than simply limiting myself to posts from the past week. I'll try to find posts that are not time-specific, that could be rebloggable at any time.

If you don't like my choices, well, you can find your own! So there!

Here are today's ten posts that I think are worthy of being reblogged:

1. Challenging Houses - Challenging Partners — by Ginny Gorman (North Kingston, Rhode Island). It's always fun when real estate analogies include people, such as your partners, other half, spouse, significant other.
2. Does Your Agent Skip Town in the Summer? — by Kathy Schowe (La Quinta, California). Back in 2001 I had an agent who signed the listing papers and then left on a 30-day cruise to Rio! I sold the house while she was gone and she came back wanting $21,000 commission. Not! 
3. Stop Junk Mail, and AVOID Trigger Leads — by Robert Rauf (Toms River, New Jersey). I actually like junk mail because in 2010 I got 17 pens, nine postage stamps, one two-dollar bill, seven one-dollar bills, and lots of sample stuff like a bar of soap, dishwashing detergent, discount coupons to restaurants and grocery stores, and so much more. I open junk mail during commercials when watching sports on TV. It's called multitasking!
4. Lessons Learned from Lemonade Stand — by Mary Yonkers (Erie, Pennsylvania). Everything in life I learned from my first lemonade stand. And to think officials outside the Congressional Golf Club a week ago tried to shut down the lemonade stand. Didn't work.
5. DON'T JUST SURVIVE ~ THRIVE! — by Paula Hamilton (The Woodlands, Texas). Check your attitude before you leave home, and if you work at home, leave your attitude in bed or wash it off in the shower.
6. How Pending Is It? — by Randy Ostrander (Big Rapids, Michigan). The beauty of the English language! It's only going to get worse as liking, +1ing, and tweeting take over the world. I can see the future English class: "For your first assignment, class, tell me in no more than 140 characters what you did last summer."
7. Cottonwood CA Homes For Sale - How to Live Long And Live Strong - Lake California CA Homes For Sale — by Steve, Joel, and Steve A. Chain (The Chain Gang) (Cottonwood, California). No history of smoking. Uh-oh. I took a puff on a cigarette when I was 9, and a puff on a roach when I was 17. Do those count?
8. Bee keeping Waukesha county real estate and the lake country real estate, creatures of habits— by Tom Braatz (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin). Learning good real estate practices from bees mean you won't get stung.
9. You have to decide what your priorities are... — by Chris Smith (Aliston, Ontario, Canada). I love the rocks in Chris's life, and he even named them: Helen and Alec. We know that Alec is a seven-year-old rock but no word on the age of the lady rock.
10. Homeowner Associations - Maybe You Can't Choose Your Family But You Can Choose Your HOA! — by Gary Waters (Viera, Florida). As long as you own a home in a development with an association, you are going to either be hindered, oppressed, stressed, harassed, or protected.
