Boy, does our house smell nice!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold, Fair Oaks

Boy, does our house smell nice!  Our magnolia tree is finally blooming.  With the late spring (almost nonexistent this year), it feels like we went straight from winter to summer in the Sacramento area, so many of the things in our Fair Oaks yard that would have bloomed some time ago are just now beginning.

Jon went out and picked this one from the tree and presented it to me.  It is about 12 inches across.  I know it won't last long in a bowl of water, but while it lasts, we will enjoy its beauty and its wonderful fragrance.

Add this to the great fragrance of the star jasmine against the back of the house, and all it takes is a slight breeze to make you go mmmmmmm!

Wow, that does look nice.

It's so dry around here (75 days with no rain) that all we could smell, if the wind direction changes, is the smoke fro the forest fires.

Wow, what a fragrant beauty and so big!   Isn't that size a bit unusual?

Susan, looks yummy and if it smell half as good as it looks, it must be delightful.  We seemed to have bypassed spring here as well and straight into summer.  Enjoy the blooms and the fragrances they bringl

Susan, That red and white table covering really makes the flower stand out. Nice contrast. Have a great summer.

If you like magnolias and star jasmine, you should move down here. They bloom year-round!
