Visit the famous Alamo which took 69 years to build and was completed in 1793. The Alamo originally served to house missionaries and their Indian converts for nearly seventy years. The Alamo is located in downtown San Antonio, TX and represents almost three hundred years of history with exhibits on the Texas Revolution and Texas History. Guests are welcome to wander through the lovely Alamo Gardens and it’s a must see for all those who visit San Antonio.
San Antonio Zoo is located along the San Antonio River and considered to be one of the best zoos in America because is holds over 3,500 animals and represents 700 different species. You encounter everything from Lions, Giraffe, and Hippopotamus to reptiles and one of the largest bird collections. In addition the zoo holds weekly educational programs and is available for private events. It’s a great and educational way to spend a fun day with the whole family.
Sea World San Antonio has is all - roller coaster rides like the Steel Eel and the Great White (which will flip you upside-down five times), along with a 450,000 gallon shark and fish tank! There are many shows and exhibits were you can see seals, dolphins and sea lions. Whatever you do, don’t miss the awe-inspiring Shamu – one of the greatest shows on earth for people of all ages.
