We have short sale sellers who are working all the hours they can just to support their families. Food and utilities come before mortgage payments that are now financially out of reach. The word hardship does not begin to describe some of the situations we see with short sale sellers. We had one family where both parents were working every hour they could and there was not the time to thoroughly clean every corner of the house....and not the money to pay someone to do it. We knew the house would show better....and as importantly, having the house cleaned would make the Sellers feel better...so we surprised them with having a professional cleaning service give the house a cleansing that it had not had for some time.
Helping the house look the best it could...helped us of course...but the great feeling it gave the Sellers to come to the faint smell of furniture polish, a centerpiece on the table and the nooks and crannies dusted and cleaned was sooo worth the little time it took to make the phone call to arrange it.
Pay it forward all you can to the people most in need....it will do your heart good....and the recipient will feel good all over at the time they need it most.

Sally & David- this is an incredible pay it forward to someone who obviously needs it. House cleaning can be so daunting when you are short on time and I'm sure they were greatly, greatly appreciative!
