Last month I had the pleasure of finally closing another very difficult and long Bank of America short sale. Bank of America is not always the easiest lender to work with, and I can be a tough critic. This Cooper City short sale was on the verge of not closing on time because Bank of America's assigned closer left for vacation without letting anyone know or handing the file off to someone. I was very lucky that two ladies at Bank of America went above and beyond to help us close, and the day was saved because of them. Sometimes it’s just about who you can get a hold of.
Anyone who knows me -and any of my sellers can attest to this - knows that I do not give up. I will not take no for an answer. I will escalate a file until I have bothered all of Bank of America, and until something is done. I refuse to let my sellers suffer because some people don’t know what they’re doing; I believe most CDPEs are like me in that sense. Unlike most agents, however, I officially declare that I WELCOME Bank of America short sales! All the frustration I've experienced with Bank of America has taught me how to handle them, and I am more than ever, extremely confident that I can successfully close their short sales. If It goes to show that if you if you fight hard enough, good things do happen.
If you know anyone who is unable to pay their mortgage, please let them know I can help during this difficult time.
Bring on the Bank of America short sales!
