Last week, I celebrated my 39th birthday with my family and loved ones!
My husband and awesome boys treated me to a wonderful day of games and slides at our local fun centers here in the Santa Clarita Valley, as well as a fantastic BBQ steak dinner and yummy delicious birthday cake made at home.
You see, holidays and birthdays are a big deal in my household because having traditions and quality family time is very important to us. I know my boys will carry those traditions and memories into their adult lives and hopefully into the lives of their future families.
As the day progressed, I could not stop thinking how blessed I truly am to have such a wonderful family that love and care about me, enough to make my birthday a special day!
The best part was that we had a fabulous day without spending a lot of money.
I just really love the fact, that we really enjoy the simple and little things that doesn’t cost a dime and makes a bigger impact on my family than when we do spend money!
So the bottom line is that some of the best things in life are free and are the most memorable!
