They're bringing the fireworks back!!!!!

One of the things I remember being so excited about when we bought our current home, was the great view we'd have to watch the Fourth of July fireworks that were an annual event at the Jackson County Fairground. Little did we know, that the year we bought, 2002 would the last year there would be a fireworks display at the fairgrounds.

The area display was since moved to the Medford Armory, south of us, and not within the range of our beautiful view of the Rogue Valley.

Well, I'm excited for this year as I've heard some radio ads mentioning that this year's RED WHITE AND BOOM display will again be back fairgrounds here in Central Point. It's touted to be the largest fireworks display, in Southern Oregon history!

I'm so excited for Monday evening to arrive! Hubby and I, and maybe a few guests, will perch ourselves out on the deck to take in all the sights and sounds and to celebrate our Nation's Freedom!

Good for you, sounds like the perfect 4th of July evening. That is also "our anniversary," so my husband and I really love to celebrate the 4th of July too. We're finally getting fireworks back to Fort Vancouver this year too. Hooray!

That's great! It also might be a sign that things are getting better economically, that your town can now afford to bring back the simple tradition of firewoks.
