Beach Reads Paperback Book Sale at Northeast Regional Library Wilmington NC

Picture of beach chair and bookAs far as I'm concerned, having a good book in hand at the beach is almost as important as wearing sunscreen.  Sure, I like to people watch and take a dip in the cool Atlantic waters.  But there is something so "beachy", so relaxing about sitting in my chair lost in a good book while the waves crash and the seagulls sing . . .  I'm always on the lookout for a good beach book and I think I've hit the mother lode here!

Northeast Regional Library in Wilmington NC will be holding a Beach Reads Paperback Book Sale on July 16th from 9a ~ 2p to benefit library programs.  And get this, every single book is 50 cents!  That's right, just 50 cents!  I could end up with enough books to see me through 3 summers of beach reading!

Northeast Regional Library is located at 1241 Military Cutoff Road Wilmington NC 28405.  I'd plan on getting there early, at these prices who knows how long the supply will last!

Just one more reason to love living in Wilmington NC!  If you're ready to buy a home in Wilmington NC or one of our fabulous beaches, give me a call.  I know the area and it would be my pleasure to help you find the home of your dreams.

I prefer a fishing rod in my hand at the beach, and a beach with no one there to scare the fish.

Tish, you'd love our local library.  There's always a collection of free paperbacks available of oldies but goodies.  You take them for as long as you like and you can return them or replace them with others when you're finished.

What a great idea, Tish!  I love reading at the beach.  It seems it's the only time lately that I can enjoy a good book - that and on a plane.

William ~  I would agree with you for those very early mornings or late afternoons . . .

Leah ~  Now that's an approach I would love.

Amy ~  Thinking you might want to hold off for a year or two or three, if you're waiting for The Tan Man to go off to college!

Anita ~  They're so much more enjoyable when you know you're stealing away from a very packed pipeline.

Liz & Bill ~  I would agree!

Elyse ~  Here, here.
