Thursday at Brookside Gardens & A Clear Plan

You Have a Clear Vision but Lack a Clear Plan- You may have a wonderful dream, goal or vision but your plan to make it happen may not be well thought out or may be too overwhelming.  No matter what the goal, you need clarity on how to carry it out.  Think with the end in mind and work your way back to a starting point.  Use the techniques of prioritizing and partializing when you create a plan.  Chunk it down to doable steps.  Sometimes our reach exceeds our grasp and this can cause us to give up in frustration as it all seems too much or too confusing.

Recommendation:  This is exactly the time when hiring a coach can save you time and effort in reaching your goal.  Working with a coach doesn't have to be a long term commitment - you can even partialize and prioritize when it comes to this.  You can hire a coach just for the planning piece.

Here's to your success!  I would love to hear about your accomplishments as the rest of the year progresses.  kate@vivacitynow.com

Where is Brookside Gardens?  It is located in the Wheaton Regional Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. www.BrooksideGardens.org  It is a favorite destination for Dolores and me.  Now is a good time to take your family for a visit and enjoy the Wings of Fancy butterfly exhibit at the Conservatory.

This group of photographs is from the Azalea Show at Brookside Gardens.  If you have photographs from your favorite places, please share them in the comments for this post.

I like to use this time of year to re-evaluate my goals...without a clear vision we are just treading water.

Love today's flora photos Roy.

Hello Roy,

I have set goals and climbed the perverbial ladder of sucess, only to find out the "brass ring" we so often try to reach was made of iron and was rusty.

Having a "coach" will help. I have looked into a coach for my business and it looks like it just might work.

Thanks for the advice. The pictures are great as always.

Roy - I think we have to have a "vision" but it is equally important to have a "plan" - they work together.

Clarity is the key to any good plan. Write it, set it aside, review it, revise it, and then implement it! Then, unlike the guys in Washington, tweak it so it stays on the raod to success! Clarity, like your photos would keep us on the right road! Enjoy the day!

Oh how I wish I could take photos like that. As for planning...it's not really difficult, just keep it simple with baby steps each day. You'll be surprised how much you can accomplish when you put it in writing each day. Don't quit until you have compled the task at hand.

Okay, Roy, now I know for sure that you truly do have a talent at Irisphotographing flowers.  We finally have real live flowers here in Laramie so I decided to try taking some "Roy-esque" blossom shots and.... well, they are pretty, but nothing like yours.  You do have a knack!

Roy – Check out SmugMug and Shutterfly. I think those are where you’d have your greatest success with selling your photographic art.
