ANOTHER July 4th Weekend Event! Coney Island Hosts Larosa's Balloon Glow July 3rd

Okay Warren County residents, here's another opportunity to make a short drive and have another good time! Sunday July 3rd Coney Island down on Kellogg Avenue is hosting Larosa's Balloon Glow!

Now if you've never been to one, they're pretty cool! Catching a balloon glow at Eden Park with the lake years ago was terrific!

And Coney Island is sweetening the deal with even MORE options to entertain you!

Stiltwalkers and jugglers at 6 p.m, Live Music (take your pick of the UC Band Jazz Ensemble or the Anderson Township Community Band). Then at 8 p.m. you get up to 20 balloon' participating in Larosa's Balloon Glow! And now for the infomercial part...but WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! At 10 p.m. you get a Rozzi's firework show! WOO HOO!!

Parking is $7 BEFORE 2 p.m., $10 after! Other than that, the balloon glow and fireworks are free! If on the other hand you want to make use of Coney Island's Sunlite Pool and all the rides....well that's another story! Visit Coney Island's official website for details on prices and hours.

Michelle, I know we went to one once, cool fall evening, and right next to Mirror Lake in a downtown Cincinnati area park. VERY neat thing to watch against a dark sky :)

Anita, We're getting swamped with event opportunities to blog about! Lebanon also has a parade and fireworks this weekend, and Kings Island is doubling their usual nightly fireworks show on the 2nd & 3rd!

Scott, We see quite a few balloons in our area, with several companies offering balloon flights. We also quite commonly see this big red, white and blue balloon with some real estate company whose name starts with RE and ends with MAX :)

Kathy, Looks like correcting a typo in this one brought it forward to 2014! Coney is just east of Cincinnati on the Ohio River.

Endre, It's an amusement park/wate park by the Ohio River that goes back a ways. Not as far back as NYC's Coney Island, but it's OUR Coney :)
