Life is very good in Kentlands!

I enjoy early morning walks through the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  I need the exercise and enjoy taking a few photographs along the way.  My focus is on the flowers and the changing colors of the seasons. Every now and then, I do capture a picture of a feathered or furry neighbor.

When you are looking for a community in which to purchase a home, I recommend that you take a walk for a closer look to see if the quality of life features you are seeking are available in the area.  If you want to take pictures of flowers, you need to be able to find lots of flowers.

If you have photographs from your special places, please share them in the comments for this post.

Roy...first let me say that the advice on photo placement is great.  was going to comment this way; then ATT shot me up and down the 'page' and what do I see but this photo or the Robin; this is our Michigan State Bird though the numbers have been waning the last few years; These past few weeks, we have been seeing more & more of them. Perhaps they remembered that they are our Michigan state Bird ???
Both posts, as usual, are informative and interesting.

Have a good rest of the week.

Thanks for your comments.

Barb: Maybe some of your robins moved south.  We have no shortage of them in Maryland and Virginia.  However, it is difficult for me to get close up pictures. Most fly away before I can get a shot.

 Blooming for you!

Wow - I love all the colors!  You sure know how to capture the essence of the flowers... and the birds too!  Your post makes a great point about getting out there and really seeing what's around you with a critical eye.

Good Thursday morning. This was an ideal morning for my early walk through Kentlands and Lakelands.  I was able to take a number of flower photographs.
