Homes For Sale In Boulder - Big Elk Meadows (Boulder County)

JULY 2nd OPEN HOUSE and Fundraiser For Big Elk Meadows Fire Department.  Come see the community at it's best and find out why this is the home and community to build lasting memories!

We have decided to give a walking tour of 430 Hickory using our Flip Video camera.  We have not done this before and wanted to test it out!  It can be challenging for Buyers to see mountain property.  This should give Buyers a true idea of the home and surrounding areas.  If you are a realtor, any feedback on this first video would be great.  We had to make a little fun of our selves in the editing process after we watched it.

TOP 3 FEATURES OF 430 HICKORY Lyons, Colorado 80540

  1. Close proxcimty to Estes Park, Lyons, Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park
  2. Private mountain living while having the support and connivence of a strong community.
  3. On site volunteer fire department.

Cool property and it's nice to see you back and active in AR. You need to join Vbloggers - it's a group that supports this type of media and a great place to hone your craft. I suggest you post this there and ask for feedback. I will take a more in depth look in a bit and give you more feedback, but my initial thought is you look comfortable on camera and that's a huge FIRST step. I also like the quality of the video.

The only problem I foresee is the length, if people see a video is going to take them more than a couple of minutes, they often WON"T commit at all to watching it. Currently, I don't have the time to watch the entire seven minutes because of a morning appointment, but I will take a look later.

Glad to see your adding video to your marketing efforts, it's another layer and a good one. :)

Debb-  Thanks for the advice!  We agree that the length is an issue.  This was our first one so I know we will get a formula that is more efficient.  Our goal was to do a complete walk through for buyers that can't get up there to see the property. Hopefully we will be doing a few more in the next week and can get them down to 3min or less.

Totally with you the on the "learning curve issue." I'm certainly still learning too -- maybe you could break it into two segments with the interior shots and then the exterior tour - just a thought. Happy 4th of July.
