Good News... Fourth of July Fireworks are still on!
Well folks, Firework Celebrations for the Fourth of July were looking pretty grim here on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. Nineteen Eastern Carolina Counties are currently under a "Burn Ban", and everyone was being urged to refrain from Fireworks on the fourth of July. After Carteret County received a good soaking yesterday afternoon, and is expecting more on Friday, Fireworks are still a go for the 4th of July Weekend! As far as I know, the burn ban is still in effect, and the Air quality is still not perfect from wildfires in surrounding counties... So please be careful out there!
Now.... you will need to decide which activities you wish to be a part of this weekend in celebration of Independence day!
So much to do.... So little time
July 1st - Alive at Five Concert Series
July 1st - Artists on Arendell
July 2nd - Fourth of July Fish Fry
July 2nd - Concert in the Park
July 3rd - Atlantic Beach Fireworks Event
July 4th - Emerald Isle Fireworks Event
July 4th - Fireworks Cruise aboard the "Crystal Coast Lady"
July 4th - Morehead City Fireworks Celebration
July 4th - "Let Freedom Ring" Celebration in Beaufort
July 4th - Cannon Firing at Fort Macon State Park
July 4th - Under Water Bike Race
July 4th - Beaufort Fourth of July Parade
Whether you are Hanging out at the beach, boating, enjoying a big family cook-out, dancing and singing at concerts in the park, watching Fireworks.... Don't forget the meaning of the day and don't forget to remember the men and women who fought for our Independence and the Men and Women who sacrifice everyday for Liberty and Freedom.
Wishing you all a safe and happy 4th of July!
