If you have a smartphone, Dropbox is a must have application

I have to say that Dropbox is one of the better applications I have come across for productivity. We use google docs quite a bit, but there are so many platforms to store documents and files today but this one is so simple. I know so many people have heard of it, but for every 4 people I talk to, only 1 has heard about it.

It's like having a zip drive (that's so 2000's) on your pc, desktop and phone.  You can share folders with your assistants, processors and colleagues and can all add and remove files from any device instantaneously.

It's great for always being able to have forms on you.  I got stuck on the way to a last minute appointment this month without a particular office form I needed the client to sign.  I called my assistant and asked them to email it to me.  She said "I am putting into your dropbox file folder and you should see it now.  It was almost instantaneous before she finished saying "now" that the form popped up on my phone.  I was hooked.

This also works well to save your pictures you take for listings, you can pop them in your dropbox and have your office staff editing and putting the slideshow  and up on the MLS before you get back from signing the listing agreement.  Just a great tool to keep your forms and files and the ability to sync to all your devices and collaborate with other team players as well.  Major productivity tool.

The link below is a share link that will give an extra .25GB than you would get signing up on your own.  Realtors love referrals, so does Dropbox!  Great app.

Thank you for the replies, Dropbox is a great app, don't leave home without having everything on me.  Can coordinate so much better with syncing folders with my team member during a sale or loan.  Keeps everyone in the loop and able to collaborate in real time, love it!

Hi Justin,
Dropbox is very cool. And Dropbox is an excellent storage service.
For example, you can use Dropbox as a backup destination to backup all your data from other cloud services. For example, if you use Evernote and Google Docs, it might good to backup all notes and Google Docs documents to Dropbox.
So please check out cloudHQ (http://cloudHQ.net) - cloudHQ can backup and sync all your files from Google Docs, Evernote, SugarSync, Box, etc. to Dropbox - even Basecamp projects.
