Or do they? Our community is built upon exchanges. Exchanges of ideas, knowledge and friendship. Referrals play a large part of our exchange between one another and are helpful to us all including our customers. This brings us to the Main Introduction of our Profile!
It is imperative that you take the time and effort to maximize your Profile for the Members of our Community, your Clients and last but not least...GOOGLE. And, of course we love comments from our Community Members! I know a lot of you by name with a glance of your picture. This is how it should be.
Recently some of the Members leaving comments do not show their name. Now, this makes it truly difficult to get to know you! Not just for Active Rain Members but for the Potential Clients that will click through to your Profile.
Will a Potential Client gravitate to a Profile that just says "XYZ REALTY" or "Patti, your Realtor at XYZ REALTY?"
Personalization is critical to build a Social Networking Profile. There is nothing Social about "XYZ REALTY".
Today, you should revisit your Profile and spiff it up for all of us including GOOGLE! That's a real biggie.
Go to"My Profile" and click edit.
Use the Catagories to optomize Friendly information and Google placement.
- Comma after name and add your last name too! We want to know you!
- Last name category will finish out the info you want to show on your comments. Place commas between your phrases as this tells the Google Bot what phrases to place your Profile under.
- ADD YOUR NAME TO THE COMPANY NAME. as you want the business personally and you want to let us all know your name!
- Email is normal.
- Website URL is open for more than just one site by adding your comma and no spaces. Be sure the add the entire http://www. so it will show up as an active link.
- Scroll down to the description and use this as a KeyWord rich category. Use comma's or the word "and" to separate your Key Phrases for Google.
Be sure to hit save with each step of your revisions!
