After reading a post by Ravi Shaw called Century 21 & 21Online.com I thought I would share with you guys and gals an idea I came up with to help improve the Slide Show found on 21Online for the agents I work with.
It's not a bad service provided to us by Century 21 but it needs lots of work. One of my highest ranked problems that gets the hair on my back up is the lack of branding.
Well if there is no agent or for that matter company branding I figured .. why not put it in myself. So I fired up my MS Picture It software and created a slide to do my branding for me.
You can use any art program or good photo software, I just use Picture It because I use it for my photo enhancements . For the slide I open a document in landscape and change the ratio to about 600x400, it feels more business card like.
Next comes the agent photo sized for feel. Ladies believe me you take a good picture, so use one. Then I added the words and company logo. Get the font on up there in size, you want your target to be able to read it in a short time span.
Now I saved the document as a Jpeg file and I keep the size down to about 200k. Its a simple matter of uploading it to my slide show on 21Online as a picture of the property. I like to place it about half way and at the end of the show.
In the end I ended on making three different types of slides. 1) A intro page with house address, price and smaller picture of front of house. 2) Call to action page about calling to make a private showing appointment. 3) an agent slide like the one to the left.
Finally don't forget to copy the link to your slide show to your MLS listing. Who knows who and where someone on the net will see it. Make your branding slide and use it. Its Free. It easy to use. You can now customize it. Oh and did I say its FREE!
