CNBC listed Virginia at #1 in their "America's Top States For Business In 2011." In that study, Virginia was listed as #2 in business friendliness meaning it's a great environment for business in relation to regulation and litigation. Virginia ranked #10 in access to capital, # 8 in its economy and #6 in education. Five of ten rankings were at 10 or below. Virginia is a great place to raise a family and do business.
A few weeks ago, Inman News reported that Winchester, VA is one of the "10 Best Markets for Real Estate Investors."
In less than two weeks, the economic community has broadcast to the world, "Move to Virginia," and if you do, "Move to Winchester!" And, if you move to Winchester, VA call Mike Cooper to find the home of your dreams 540-722-6029. OK, I added that, but it's true.
I couldn't be more proud of my state. We have a great governor. Watch him. He is showing the nation how to pull itself out of this financial quagmire it's in. We are rich in history. We have mountains. We have beaches. We are a great place to start a new business, and we have a field ripe for the investment community to harvest!
