It's been a fairly busy spring market this year.
Too many days (nights!) I came home to this.
Or worse - Champ would be in the window as I pulled out the driveway.
Home alone for another long day.
The guilt! It kills me.
I'm doing my darndest to spend some quality time with him this weekend.
Hope you get some time off this holiday weekend to enjoy a bit of R and R and quality time with your loved ones - be they feline, canine and/or human.
Elizabeth, hope you and Champ have some good R&R time this coming holiday weekend! Have you considered a friend for Champ to play with? Or cuddle with? There are lots of cats out there who need homes... just a thought..
Wow, that face speaks volumes! Since I'm working all weekend (you, too, probably) I vow to take Monday OFF! Life has been lopsided here this year, and it's time for an R&R day. Happy 4th to you, Liz -- must be extra-special in Cambridge and Boston.

Hi Shannon ~ I think about another cat but Champer adores being my one and only. I leave a couple of TVs on for him. Maybe I should get him some videos. Believe me - I could adopt way too many cats if I let myself.
Hi Lottie ~ Knock on wood I'm trying to reserve the days. But you know how that goes... And of course it occurred to me that I need to do a 4th of July post asap - those are always huge. Have a great weekend - and don't work too hard!

Hi Larry ~ Ha! Champ has no front claws (not my doing that's for sure - but have to say it's convenient in some respects - he can only bite me - not claw me!) and so he pretty much ignores birds. I think it's because to admit they were of interest, despite his inability to catch one, would be a blow to his ego.
