First of all I want to say thanks to everone on here that is supporting Bob through this massive disaster so he and his family can get through this matter. I too, am in the same boat as Bob here when he talks about the flood here, although Bob has suffered more loss/damage than I have. When I spoke with him last he had said that his whole basement was flooded and the main floor has approximately 6 feet or so there. My place didnt get it that bad, me and my fiance lived in a basement apartment of house that we rented and we have 4 1/2 half feet of water that has overtakened and forced us out our home too. I was able to get some photos via the web that are not copyrighted of some different areas of flooding and things associated with the flood in Minot.

The photo left is one of the dams that was releasing massive amounts of water that ended up flooding us. The photo right is an area of SW Minot where the water lvls are almost to the roof approximately 10 to 12 feet high.

The second lower left photo is of a main traveled road used in Minot that was flooded out.

The second from left a house that lost the battle but tried by sandbagging 4 feet high. Third from left is a business but iam not sure what one, that survived the flood by building a 10 foot retaining wall consisting of clay/dirt, with sandbags on the top layer. Fourth from left here is a shot of the crews inspecting and maintaining dikes. The lowest left photo is vehicles using an alternate route with water about 18 inches high, later this same road would be 4 feet plus deep. And the last photo right shot is another crew of National Guard and Local Newsteam personnel, cruising around on this boat to video and take pictures of damage and water levels.

I have to say our local Newsteam has done a awesome job with the help of National Guard, on showing all of the areas of Minot and its damage to the people. By using this boat, that way people can see what there house looks like and that means alot when you cant go see it while its baracaded or being guarded.
