Tom Anderson, founder of MySpace, gives Google+ a Thumbs Up

A Mashable.com article quotes Tom Anderson, founder of MySpace, as saying "... Google+ really seems to be primed to make good on that original premise-that everything gets better when it's social. And unlike FB, Twitter, or anyone else, Google already has the most advanced set of products. And if I can clearly see where this is headed, then I think what we are getting is a much better Google."  Anderson has some other complimentary remarks about Google+ and appears to be a fan even before it's been released.

BTW, Google+ is a new social media program that will give Facebook stiff competition.

In another article, Mashable lists the pros and cons of Google+.  Topping the list of Pros is a "Gorgeous UI". Many beta users have commented that it's  "sleek, intuitive, and uncluttered".  Google cleverly hired Andy Hertzfeld,  who helped design the original Apple Macintosh GUI, to design the Google+ interface.   This is exciting news and I can't wait to try it out. ( I admit that the FB interface is one of the reasons why I'm not a big FB fan.)   It's too late to sign up for Google+ beta testing, so I'll have to wait until it's released, but after reading the reviews,  I'm prepared to LIKE it.

Thanks for the title of this blog.  I had been trying to remember the name "my space" for days.

Seeing as how I'm about done with Facebook, I'd definitely be willing to look into Google +.

I don't think Google+ is available for anyone besides beta testers yet, and unfortunately, I'm not one of them.
