For the current reporting week, the market posted positive movement on the demand side of the aisle. Buyers signed more purchase agreements than they did one year prior. In addition to being aware of changing dynamics at this time last year, it's also important to watch what other indicators can reveal.
In the Mid-Atlantic region, for the week ending June 18:
• New Listings decreased 11.0% to 3,722
• Pending Sales increased 30.5% to 2,679
• Inventory decreased 14.4% to 58,640
For the month of May:
• Median Sales Price increased 0.6% to $269,900
• Days on Market increased 20.0% to 88
• Percent of Original List Price Received decreased 1.9% to 93.1%
