Brockton Farmers Market Starts Friday

     Want to support your local farmer?  The annual Farmers Market returns to City Hall Plaza this Friday, July 8 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.  Fresh produce,plants, flowers, poultry products and dairy products will be on sale by local growers from all over the local area. Here is an opportunity to eat fresh and healthy food at affordable prices. 

     City Hall Plaza is located at 45 School St. in Brockton, and farmers from Midddleboro, Lakeville, Fairhaven and other local towns will be on hand.  The Market is a weekly event that runs through October 28, rain or shine.

There are a lot of folks out there with allergies and these markets usually offer some local honey.  I used to be a bee keeper and I provided local honey to many with allergies.  Most of them improved with some were completely cured from the allergy shots forever.  Check with your doctor but this often helps a lot for most people.

Kathleen, Farmer Markets get more popular every year here. It's a good trend.

Ed, I agree, people are friendlier than in the supermarkets.

Doug, we have a honey farm less than two miles away.  It works better than anything to combat allergies.
