While many agents and offices sleep on the fall market, we've been very busy here at CBRB Ashburn. A couple weeks back we took to the outdoors. Verne Dickerson was nice enough to host our Fall Picnic/Offsite at his beautiful property sitting on 46 acres North of Leesburg.
We spent some time getting to know each other better through a great game called "Two Truths and a Lie." It is always amazing what you learn about people (can you say licensed bail bondsman in the group). Next we buckled down for a little bit to discuss and refine our vision as an office. It was great to see that everyone is strongly behind our goal of being the # 1 office in Ashburn on a productivity per agent basis, while maintaining a fun work environment. It is great to see that the entire team is committed to being an elite group of real estate professionals.
Finally, we finished off the day by firing up the barbecue. Everyone brought their favorite dish and we ate till we couldn't eat anymore. Kae's son Drew worked the grill, cooking burgers, dogs, and chicken spiedies (a little taste of Binghamton, NY hometown treat I prepared for the group).
Since the picnic, we have been knee deep in training and events, everything from a visit from Victoria Baker (tech education mgr) and the mobile lab to gearing up for the Greater Washington Heart Walk next month. It's the third Tuesday of the month and that means an office meeting at 10:00am, so I'd better run. Until next time. - Brian
