I recently wrote a blog to Newbies simply asking them to be BOLD, and to Start Blogging. Today, when I checked the featured posts, I see that my friend, Connie from Nashville, TN has written a great post to encourage Newbies to keep on blogging.

It's note very difficult to find Newbies, and here is a link to Find Them Now! Like my Friend Cindy in Indy, pointed out, Look for those with some "Goose eggs" in their comments, and encourage them on.

Keeping up with the Newbies, or not so New ActiveRain Members

This morning, as I was reading my email, I found Notifications of "Spam Comments" onYou've got mail some of my older posts. I don't usually look at my older posts, but some of these I had written during the 31 Days of January Challenge.

Many of us did the challenge, and I truly felt like I had made many new Friends here at AR. I didn't subscribe to all of them, but I tried to read their posts and keep up with them.

Today, as I was deleting the spam, I saw some of their faces and realized that I actually WASN'T keeping up with them. I was Neglecting them actually.

I went to the last post I wrote in January What do you Say at the End of an Incredible Month of Blogging and re-read the comments. Many of the commentors were relatively new to AR. Many I really got to know in January.

Today I have been going to their blogs to see how their blogging had changed these past 6 months. Some took off like horses out of the start gate, and others did a couple posts in February and March and have basically quit blogging. I hate to see that. It's taken me over 2 hours to write this post because I've been commenting on their posts to let them know that I'm thinking about them. I want to encourage them.

What are YOU doing to encourage the Newbie Bloggers?

Love this post Jerry. I remember the fear in posting and getting a comment. Hearing back from those "veterans" made me feel a part of this group. Soon the fear went away.

Thanks.

Good gosh Jerry!  First Connie called me out and now you!  I've fallen down on my Newbie and goose egg commenting.  I'm just trying to keep up with my everyday posting and commenting.  I promised Connie, and I'll promise you, I plan to devote time one day a week for Newbies and today is the day!

Good Morning, David. My greatest benefit so far has been all the new found Active Rain Friends and Associates that I have made since January 2011. Not to mention, all the education and knowledge I have gained too. I would suggest that you BE BOLD, and start Blogging. Take a look at Kerissa's very First Blog in Active Rain. and she said that she waited six months before she wrote this.

Yes, Anna. I certainly agree with you. I am presently working with two in my office, and I have contacted a couple in Active Rain that needed a little encouragement too.

Making Real Estate Profitable

Tom made me laugh out loud.  I guess that just goes to show you that some Realtors are timid.  I guess I jumped out there when I signed up because I don't take criticism as such; it's about self-improvement.  Maybe it's that I've had enough criticism to let it bounce off me. IDK but either way, it's funny that some folks are timid to write, others just aren't worried about the potential negativity.  I guess it comes with being in open forums for a long time, in other venues!  Nice re-blog Jerry, and thanks for supporting others, like me.
