Hi Laura, Thanks for the kind words. I think this is a strategy that may be used more and more as our economy and home prices stabilize. Basically the sum value of the two properties should bring you out from underwater much faster than is you wait for appreciation and principal reduction through payments alone. With interest rates at record lows, and expected to stay there for another year, I wonder what there is left to help improve the economy.
