A World Premiere of Chris Roberts-Antineau: A Love Letter to Tom Waits
This provocative film reveals the comedy and heartbreak of Chris Roberts-Antieau's
journey to become one of the world's most well known outsider artists. From the days of
cutting scraps of fabric on her dining room table to the walls of collectors like Oprah
Winfrey, Roberts-Antieau's true rags to riches story is sure to inspire the artist within
you.

The graphic novel style of Roberts-Antieau's work is inspired and driven by the music of
Tom Waits. The film naturally moves to the rock beat of a soundtrack that includes Tom
Waits, Ben Folds, Danny Kline, Orpheum Bell, and Scotch Bonnet. The insightful
interviews with Ben Folds, Kathy Kinney, Rebecca Hoffberger, Patricia Mooradian, and
Joe Henry reveal the importance of this living artist.

The Red Carpet Premiere is supported by Ann Arbor Street
Art Fair (AASAF) and proceeds will benefit AASAF programs.
