Obviously it's not worth the 2007 price or it wouldn't be in foreclosure.

What's it worth in today's market? In that area?

By the way, that does sound like quite the deal.

Are hazard insurance rates really high now on those sorts of properties? I heard from some folks who still live there that rates went sky high after 6 hurricanes in Florida in a twelve month period?

That price really is Phenomenal and will probably sell over List.  Insurance is really not as bad as people think.   Where they really gouge is when you are on Open water, but canals are not that bad.  We are for the most part limited to the state run Citizen's Insurance.  For Hazard and Flood you are probably looking at 6-7K a year..which I know is astronomical in some parts of the country but par for waterfront homes in SE Fl.
