A recent question I received was how to calculate net proceeds on sale of home or condo.  It is simple math, but you need to know what to calculate see below. 

Calculate Net Proceeds an estimate of cash you will receive at Closing which commonly includes the following:

$ SALE PRICE

         - COMMISSION

         - SELLER CONCESSIONS TO BUYER

         - SURVEY & INSPECTION FEES

         - TITLE COMPANY FEES

         - ATTORNEY FEES & DOC PREP FEES

         - CITY/COUNTY TRANSFER TAX

         + REAL ESTATE TAXES & UTILITIES PRORATIONS

         - CURRENT MORTGAGE LOAN PAYOFF & ACCRUED INTEREST + LIENS

      = NET PROCEEDS SELLER
