Hollywood Bowl or Bust!

Several clients have called today to wish me a great evening at the Hollywood Bowl. It's West Side Story night, and I am truly looking forward to a great event as we:

"celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic film - winner of ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture - as we present a world-premiere event. The LA Phil plays Leonard Bernstein's electrifying orchestral score and memorable songs with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim live, while the newly re-mastered film is shown in glorious high definition on the Bowl's big screen with the original vocals and dialog intact. This classic romantic tragedy, one of the greatest movie musicals, is based on a masterful book by Arthur Laurents and features breathtaking choreography by Jerome Robbins."

Well, I see that all my guesses on your other post were incorrect. Looks like a great place. We have one nearby too - Wolftrap in Vienna VA and the Jiffy Lube Pavilion in Gainesville. The variety of productions in places like this is great.

Hi Gwen, thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog. Unfortunately, the photo wasn't showing and then blog got deleted so I had to re-enter it -- and of course all of the comments were deleted too. Anyways, I re-entered it and I think, if AR is working correctly now, the picture should be up with the poem.
