Lake Erie Sunset

Some of the world's best sunsets occur on the shores of Lake Erie.

I am fortunate enough to live within walking distance of the lake. My husband prefers to drive his convertible to the lake so we compromise. I walk to the beach and he picks me up.

We end the evening with a stop at the Ice Cream stand along the way.

I think I just saw my first Silver Dollar Sunset photo. That silver ribbon of reflective light in the water is absolutely breathtaking too! I've seen golden sunsets before, but never silver. Maybe this is a good omen for you, I sure hope so!

The first beach I ever fell in love with was Mentor Headlands on Lake Erie. I grew up in Cleveland, and my dad would pack us girls up and head to the beach for most of our summer fun, except for our annual trip to Cedar Point.

Tanya--Dave & I have so much fun being together, but we also allow each other to freedom to be an individual. Taking a walk is my thing, but we both love ice cream.

Will--the convertible is a summer car. It does not like the snow and ice we have from Nov-Mar so it sits in the barn. We look forward to these summer evenings.

Rosalie--Landlocked. I can't imagine not being near water as I grew up near a river & lots of streams. Summer was swimming and picnics along the waterfront. Glad you enjoy my photo.

Joni--You are right. Some days it is more give, but that is life. It is so nice to see you again.

Cindy--Life is good. No matter what type of day we may have had, sharing a sunset together makes it all better.
