Active Rain - SOLD?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX HomeTowne Realty

Hi All,

I just received the post listed below (which was posted on linkedin):

Can anyone out there let me know what this means?  Accordingly, there are mixed messages being sent and being fairly new here, is there any merit that this site will change?  I was sooo looking forward to attending a RainCamp when it comes to the New Jersey area.  I enjoy reading the post and blogs here --- so if anyone knows 'anything' - or as in Real Estate Terms --- can I get an update on the progess of this transaction.

Marianne, I doubt that ActiveRain is going anywhere any time soon. I'll be curious to see the responses you get.

It hasn't been "sold" per se, but the majority changed hands. Market Leader now owns 51% I believe.

I LOVE this site, and feel that it is filled with so much informative information that truly relates to OUR industry ... so I was concerned when I saw the link that was sent via linkedin ... With so many sites out there, I really felt that this one does offer MERIT.  I am waiting to see more comments.

I heard some squabbles over that  eulogy blog that was posted.. kind of back handed I think but nevertheless, AR is not going away anytime soon.

Thanks Marianne for your subscription! I really appreciate it and value my readers! :)
