Estate clean out in Greenwich, CT, Fairfield County CT. Why on earth would you pay me to do this?
The other day a potential client responded to a proposal I had worked up for her. She told me that she could do the project for less than half of what I had proposed. My response to her was: By all means if you can do this yourself, why on earth would you pay me to do it? Good luck to you, though I believe when you sit down and crunch the numbers my proposal is closer to reality than what you are estimating. I pointed out to her that she had placed a value of zero on her time in the assessment she had done.  Perhaps she thought she had called "Crazy Estates".

We're making estate clean out deals!

Rock bottom prices!!
Everything must go!!!
It's insaaane!!!!

Sorry but, NO... My time and expertise are worth more than that. I am not the low cost provider. I am, I believe, a fair and reasonable cost provider. One who offers an exceptionally high quality service. We adhere to a standard that is by no means inexpensive, but is a great value. We believe you get what you pay for.

Our goal is to repair and prepare our clients home so that it can compete with, and outshine, the comparable properties that are the norm in Fairfield County CT. There are many beautiful waterfront and back country estates in Fairfield County CT
I am not being snooty here, this is simply a matter of fact. Look it up. We provide a unique service that takes on all the required tasks to transform an estate property to one with curb appeal as you approach, and buyer appeal as they walk through.

If you can handle this yourself, more power to you. Why pay me to do it? If you don't have the time to oversee a project like this, call us. We do have the time to do it right.

Always cheaper in the short run when you do it yourself , but you certainly can lose a lot of value because of a lack of knowledge.

It is amazing how many people elect to sell their own homes (my business) but don't take into consideration all that is involved and the time that is required. Time = money

I so agree w/ the comments above...either do it yourself (half baked) or pay a professional to do it right (and whil you earn money doing what you are best at).

Oh, and I've seen so many customers do renovations aaying theyll GC it and it's usually disaster...they take way longer and do things in the wrong order and as a result end up spending more than they should and more than they planned.

Than, I tell them If you can do it don't hire me. But the usually get what they pay for.

Dagny, Thank you. It's a matter of principle. I give great service at a good value when all is done.

David, I am still surprised that people try to DIY projects like these.

Debbie, Half price for half baked. In the end it ends up costing them even more.

Many, many people don’t put a value on their own time. You’ll find an attorney doing plumbing because he doesn’t want to pay a plumber $50 an hour. It takes the attorney three hours whereas it would have taken the plumber one hour. The attorney should be doing attorney work for $225 an hour and hiring a plumber at $50 an hour! Maybe they just don’t understand basic mathematics.

Russel, You are so right. I think that some people just can't do the math.
