Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Select Realty - REALTOR and Green Homes Specialist RS310271

money houseLast year, Pennsylvania was given $105 million in federal money to help homeowners that may be in jepordy of losing their homes, but to date only 1,400 people have applied and $27 million has been used.

With plenty of people in the state still facing forclosure the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency has teamed up with the United Way to get the word out that this money is available to homeowners that are facing tough times.

The deadline is September 30th and the loans are available to people who are at least 3 months behind on their payments and had at least a 15% decline in their income due to job loss, hour reduction or illness.

If you find yourself in need of help, call the United Way just by dialing 211, or if you are outside of the area by calling 1-800-552-4171.
