Help Needy and Forgotten Children Out in Katy, Texas by joining radio station 94.5 “ The Buzz” at backpack Casino Night. Momentum BMW West will host a charity event on Thursday July 14, 2011 from 6 PM till 9 PM at their dealership 15865 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77094 or 713-358--9864 and is close to Katy, Texas. The cost is $20 per person which buys you and your family $5,000 of casino chips to play with as you please. There will be commentary appetizers and drinks. All proceeds will go Houston’s Children’s charities to provide needy children returning to school with new backpacks. 
Houston’s own very hot local artist Taft McWhorter will there painting a live piece of art during this entire event. See his web site for information about this artist.

The charity per their web site is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Greater Houston’s underprivileged, abused and disabled children who have been otherwise forgotten about and left behind. This group has been in existence for 14 years and during that time raised and provided $6.8 million to program services for over 75 agencies who help children. In addition, the Becker Emergency fund has provided over $60,000 to assist families in crisis emergency situations.

This charity says it best by stating” By arranging heath care, wheelchairs, prostheses, and related support, Houston Children’s Charity helps children recover from and cope with debilitating disease and injury”. Obviously, they will accept separate donations if you can not make casino night or if it already filled with attendees. It is hard for me to turn down anything that helps poor kids out let alone children with these types of disabilities. Come on Katy and Houston Texas open your hearts and pocket books and help this group out to make backpack night or their other fine events to become a success.
