Getting Creative Showing Lake Front Homes

I think it is important when showing houses in a market filled with such negativity to mix it up and step out of the box a little. Yesterday I was showing houses on Canyon Ferry and instead of going the traditional route, everyone load up in the car, drive down the dirt road, get out walk around the houses, then do the inside tour etc. I took my client kayaking. We experienced the lake ( the true reason why they wanted lake front) We saw the houses from the water side first and choose the homes they wanted to see from this experience. I found this to be an amazing benefit to me and the client.

1. It makes my job way more fun, nothing like getting a little tan and working out my arms and abs while working hard!

2. It is relaxing, relaxing, relaxing

3. The client wanted to experience the lake, see the hard to find spots, views from different sides

4. It changed from selling a house and speaking to the experience, to selling the experience and showing how the house worked into that.

I am sure I can think of many more reasons, but it goes to show, when showing houses make it fun!

Currently between Canyon Ferry and Hauser Lake there are 12 homes $400,000 and up that are either lake front or lake view. I would be more than happy to set up an experience for you to view these homes!

Erica-That was a very creative way to show the attributes of the natural setting surrounding the house. Nice touch. So you got in a work out in addition to creating a great selling environment.
