Restaurants in Paso Robles -- A Local Foody's Perspective
Hi, my name is Suzanne Martin, and for many years, I have enjoyed food. It's a passion of mine. Making it. Tasting it. Smelling it ---and exploring it. This makes me one tough critic on cuisine. I've got to say that between my significant other and I, we have a great mix of creativity and the knack for putting the right ingredients and spices together to make some wonderful dishes. On the weekends while people tend to go out to restaurants in Paso Robles and party, we have fun in our kitchen. Creating and exploring and...having fun doing it. Some of our most memorable times have been in the kitchen cooking together. Oh...did I say there was usually a glass of wine or two somewhere in the mix?
My love for food and my ability to taste a dish and know what ingredients are in it along with always thinking about how I can make it better, caused me to become interested in becoming a local food critic. I'm not sure if anyone will end of reading my blogs or not, but I am having fun doing it!
Restaurants in Paso Robles are not exactly the caliber that you would get in more metropolitan areas as you can probably guess. However, because of the Paso Robles Wineries, you do have the food and wine combination that is great. When I first moved here, I thought the cuisine would have been a little more "gourmet" or upscale given the fact that there are many affluent people living here or having their second homes here. My significant other, Ken, and I tried restaurants in Paso Robles and the area only to be disappointed with the meal. We always say that we could make it better so why go out and be disappointed? Have you ever thought that yourself?
I have created a page on my website, my real estate website (did I tell you I was a local Realtor?) dedicated to restaurants in Paso Roblesand the North County. It will give you a list of local restaurants and their websites if they have one. Some of the restaurants in Paso Robles are not on this list yet because I have not tried it yet or have not added it to my list, but I will get them added as I have time to do so. If I have have eaten at that particular restaurant, I will tell you my opinion of the Atmosphere, Food and Service along with some dishes I had there at the restaurant. Of course, this is in my opinion only, and since you don't know me, you will have to either trust me or go try it yourself. I'd like to think that my "reviews" are credible --- I don't have an extremely pretentious palate (just mildly).
