Meet my Jack Russell, Lily, also known as Lily the Jack Russell Terrorist! Lily has more energy than a nuclear power plant. She is perpetual motion personified.
The picture of her reclining on the couch is as rare as sighting of a humming bird taking five. Lily has tenacity, she is smart as a whip and she is known to pre-determine what she is going to do next and whatever she is going to do next generally spells "trouble."
Lily sleeps with me, in fact, she hogs half the bed at night. I tried, when she was very young to discourage her from jumping on the bed, now I give in and adjust my sleeping position to accommodate her!
We are very dog friendly at the Active Rain headquarters in Seattle. Cowboy is our CMO (chief morale officer) although he has a tendency to leap up from under the table when we are sitting in meetings, causing us to repel backwards in our chairs. We also have frequent visits from Elise who is our softy rottweiler.
Lily has not been to the Active Rain office yet because I am cautiously confident that no work will get done because she will be pursuing her first love in life, "fetch" in the office! Although it would make for an energetic day for all of us!
